Now that we have lights…CS2006 @ PDC

Now that power has been restored to the Los Angeles area after an amazing power company error (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9315974/) and the 2005 Microsoft Professional Developer’s Conference (http://msdn.microsoft.com/events/pdc/) is in full force, I figured I would update you on Commerce Server coverage at PDC.

Given our significant coverage at TechEd, we will not be showing the same sessions again at PDC. Instead, we have a booth on the show floor – feel free to stop by and give your regards to Andrew McDonald (our customer/TAP PM) and talk about Commerce Server as much as you’d like. John McCrae will also be showig and talking about Commerce Server in it’s 64-bit incarnation at the AMD booth as well.

Oh, and for the final bonus – if you have not yet gotten the Commerce Server 2006 Tech. Preview 2 – FREE CD-ROM’s are available at our booth!

Summer is almost over & CS2006 is getting closer…

Well, it has been an eventful and interesting summer. My time has been filled with tradeshows, research, and futures planning – all while still staying focused on CS2006 to get it into customer’s hands as soon as possible. I admit that I have taken a break from blogging, but am now back in force. Commerce Server 2006 remains on-track and we have just shipped the second Technical Preview to members of our Technology Adoption Program a few weeks ago. The project remains on track, and the next major milestone is the general Beta release coming in late fall. Now that I’m back in full-scale blogging force, look forward to more details throughout the month of September.
